Material request

Use this form to request material for study in the Finnish Heritage Agency's collections center in Vantaa.

I am interested in following content types

Describe the requested material as precisely as possible. For example, for archival material and images, include event, time, place, author, person (birth and/or death year). For objects or archaeological material, include the type of object, dating, manufacturer, and other identifying details. Fill in the sections below as needed.

If you have the exact identifiers for the material you are requesting, such as object, diary, or image numbers, it is sufficient to fill them in the Details of the requests section. If you are requesting archaeological collections to be presented, please first refer to the instructions on Ordering Archaeological Finds.

Preferred visiting times

Let us know the preferred visiting times. Please note that the retrieval times for different materials vary from two weeks to several months.

Collections and Conservation Centre customer service is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays. The customer service is closed on midweek holidays, and during July. More detailed information on opening times and exceptions at the Finnish Heritage Agency website.
